Apply Now for 2016-2017 Enrollment
Apply now for your child to join our brand new honors-level academy. Students who enroll this year will become part of a very close-knit group of up to 60 students in grades 9 and 10 who share the common interest of academic success in high school and beyond. Led by a team of highly qualified, dedicated, experienced, and caring career-professional educators, students will have daily opportunities to experience hands-on, authentic, relevant learning like never before. The small class sizes and safe, inviting, collegial atmosphere at Berkeley STEM Academy will enable every student to explore his or her individual interests while achieving levels of academic success beyond the realm of more traditional schools.
Our independent education model is very attractive to teachers as well. With its smaller classes, better-equipped facilities, and less government interference, Berkeley STEM Academy has attracted some of the region’s best and brightest teachers. Most faculty members have graduate degrees and more than a decade of high school or college teaching experience. With three times more planning and preparation time during the day, our teachers have the freedom to use the advanced tools, materials, and technology at their disposal to thoughtfully craft and implement engaging, student-focused, relevant and meaningful lessons designed specifically for the students in their charge.
Applications for Admission are being evaluated and acted upon in the order received. Delayed applicants may be “waitlisted” if space is unavailable at the time of application.
